Md. Salim Hossain started his career as Mental Health Counselor in BRAC University. Then he joined as faculty member in United International University. In 2010, he joined in the Department of Psychology, University of Dhaka. In addition to teaching, Mr. Salim has vast interest in research especially in the field of Industrial, Cognitive and Educational areas. He pioneered Industrial-Organizational Psychology in Bangladesh and started a new stream as MS in IO Psychology in the Department of Psychology. He has over 16 national and international publications on different areas of behavioral sciences. Additionally, Mr. Salim worked as consultant in different national and International organizations like IZA, DFID, CDD, CIDIP, ERG, IoM, a2i etc
