
Md. Shahjad Hussain Jishan
Mr. Jishan is an experienced Senior Marketer with 18 year+ of extensive hands-on knowledge on Distribution Management and Sales Operation, Distribution Capacity Building, Marketing Management, Route-to-Market Analysis, planning & implementation, People Management & Development, regional/international project management, retails management etc. After completing his MBA from IBA-DU, he started his career as territory officer of British American Tobacco Bangladesh. Within in a span of 10 years, he became 'Project TaO Business Readiness Manger (Marketing) & Project TaO Stabilization Lead for BATB’; later on he was promoted to ‘Senior Leadership Team & Regional Manager, Dhaka & Khulna (Prv.)'.
Throughout his journey with BATB, he has acquired competency in different dimensions of sales. For instances, he has acquired Extensive exposure of overall responsibility for consolidated activities like sales, marketing, supply chain, business control & planning at a regional, national & International level. He also had solid understanding of channel management process, starting from strategy formulation, implementation, forecasting, managing different channels and inventory management. He has proven expertise on Trade Marketing and Distribution (TM&D) including RTM strategy formulation/implementation, account planning, channel planning and category Management and In depth knowledge on merchandising development & sales team’s capacity building/skill enhancement through training development & national level roll-out within Bangladesh & abroad.
Mr. Jishan has completed several training and participated different workshops, that includes but not limited to Indirect Distribution Management Modules (IDMM), PRINCE 2, Team Leaders' Development Workshop, Effective Business Communication, The Leadership for Growth etc.
