Dr. Afroza completed her graduation and post-graduation in Psychology from University of Dhaka. Later on, she carried her Ph.D. in Psychology from Pune University, India. Her Ph.D. research work entitled “Psychological Aspects of Low Socio-economic School Children in Bangladesh” has been published as book. In professional life, she has been working as Professor in the Department of Psychology, University of Dhaka since 2006. She took TA 101 training under the supervision of Saru, P.K. India, arranged by Ain O Salish Kandra, Dhaka. Ms. Afroza served as counsellor in the TSC counselling unit of DU for two years.
Mr. Syed Tanveer Rahman

Mr. Tanveer is currently pursuing his Ph.D in psychology and he completed his graduation and post -graduation in psychology from University of Dhaka. Mr. Tanveer has been working as a faculty member in Department of Psychology, University of Dhaka for almost 20 years. He has specialization in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Industrial Counseling, Family Studies, Environmental Psychology and Human Memory. His training portfolio contains Basic training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mental Stress & Anger Management, and suicidal Tendency Management, parenting, orientation to Psychotherapeutic Counseling for Drugs and Substance Abuse, Family Therapy Training at National Mental Health Institute, Workplace Wellbeing Management and Motivational Interview by SNV at UCEP and so on. . Alongside, he has been one of the key psychology consultant for HEQEP Project (UGC), Department of Early Childhood Development (ECD), BRAC University, KARITAS Bangladesh, Dhaka Bank Ltd., NAEM BSMMU, ICDDR,B, UCEP, SNV, BUET, BUFT, UCEP.

Mr. Salim has been working as a psychology professional for more than 12 years. He Pioneered Industrial-Organizational Psychology in Bangladesh and started a new stream as MS in IO Psychology in the Department of Psychology. He has over 16 national and international publications on different areas of behavioral sciences. Additionally he Worked as consultant in different national and International organizations like IZA, DFID, CDD, CIDIP, ERG, IoM, a2i etc. In addition to teaching, Mr. Salim has vast interest in research especially in the field of Industrial, Cognitive and Educational areas
