Mr. Khondkar Atique –e- Rabbani, B Tech (Hons) in Statistics from University of Bradford, UK, FCA is the Managing Director of The Computers Ltd, established in Nov 1983 engaged currently in (a) Consulting (Blockchain Evangelism, Blockchain Research, Education and Development, 4th Industrial Revolution, Internal Auditing, Accounting), (b) ICT training on Blockchain, Blockchain DApp (Decentralised Application) Development on Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, (c)Training of programmers in Java, PHP/MySQL, Computer Aided Design, Graphics Designing, Animation, Video Editing, Networking Technologies, as approved training service provider of Islamic Development Bank (IDB-BISEW) project and (d) Accounting, Internal Audit and ICT Audit advisory

Mr. Rabbani is currently

• Member, Board of Directors, Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd
• the member of Board of Governors of Institute of Internal Auditors Bangladesh (IIAB) (an affiliate of Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. Lake Mary, Florida, USA with affiliates from over 170 countries) and

Mr. Rabbani was

• the President of Institute of Internal Auditors Bangladesh (IIAB) (2016-2019), an affiliate of Institute of Internal Auditors Inc, Lake Mary, Florida, USA with affiliates from over 170 countries)
• Vice President (2016), Director (2015-17) and (2002-4) of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI),
• member of the founding Board of Governors (2004) and member of Board of Governors (2004 to present), Vice President (2016-17) of the Institute of Internal Auditors Bangladesh
• founder member (1997), Treasurer (1997-99), Secretary General (1999-2001) of BASIS (Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services),
• founder member (1987), Treasurer (1997-99) of BCS (Bangladesh Computer Samity),
• Independent Director of ICB Securities and Trading Company Ltd (2000 to 2012),
• Independent Director of Energypac Power Generation Ltd (2016-18).

Mr. Rabbani started work as a Programmer in British American Tobacco & Co., in Southampton, UK during 1977-78 as an industrial placement student from University of Bradford, UK. Mr. Rabbani articled with Arthur Young McClelland Moores & Co. (AYMM&Co), Luton, UK and became a member of ICAB (Institute of Chartered Accountants Bangladesh) in 1989. Mr Rabbani also has IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) Certificate of Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, ICAEW, UK.

Mr. Rabbani’s responsibilities in The Computers Ltd since 1984 covered work as Blockchain and 4IR Consultant/ Researcher/ Speaker, Business Development Manager, ICT Trainer, Software Project Manager, Software Designer and Developer, Computer Support Engineer (Hardware and Software), Computer Sales & Marketing. Mr. Rabbani, being a Chartered Accountant also offered his services in the areas of Internal Auditing, IS Audit and Accounting.
